3 Great Vegetarian Restaurants Everybody Should Try At Least Once

People are pursuing healthy foods in these few years. In this connection, vegetarians’ foods are more and more popular in Hong Kong. Even you are not a vegetarian; you can find the interesting aspects of vegetarians’ foods in vegetarian restaurants.

1 Happy Veggies

Happy Veggies is one of Work Integration Social Enterprises in Hong Kong. They are employing the hearing impaired and the elderly. I am really appreciated that deaf people could perform extremely well in the frontline interacting with the customers.

The Monday to Friday lunch set comes with three small dishes from six choices, brown rice and soup of that day.

On Saturday and dinner time, they offer side dish. I would recommend Sweet and Sour Mushroom, which are made of Lion’s mane mushroom, pineapple and bell peppers in sweet and sour sauce. The Lion’s mane mushrooms were fresh and the sauce was delicious. The taste of Sweet and Sour Mushroom is quite similar with Sweet and Sour Pork. The tomato and potato dumplings with soup were nice.

3 Gala Veggie Shop

Gala Veggie Shop is a vegetarian restaurant with fusion. Unlike the traditional vegetarian restaurant like Tung Fong Siu Kee Yuen, the vegetarian dishes with Chinese, Japanese and French style are more creative. The famous dishes are Taro fish, Avocado Baked French Toast and sushi. The taste of sushi is quite similar with real fish. The appearance of imitation meat is almost same as the real one.
