Guide to Hong Kong – Kwai Fong

Some people say that places die with time because it gets boring but I disagree especially where teenagers like to hangout. These places are always lit up with youth and have some hidden places that usually only people who were once a part of the crowd would be aware of. In fact, Kwai Fong is one of those places in Hong Kong. The area itself is part of Kwai Chung district and is a small spot. It is the place to go in order to see what you missed out on, or a nostalgic visit.

10am
What is most crucial to start a day? Yes, if you said caffeine. Relax, grab a seat, order some coffee and sip on it slowly. A cup of coffee at Aroma café, Metroplaza is the place to start the long shopping day

11am
Done with coffee, it is time to shop around Metroplaza. It is a beautiful mall, which has a variety of stores from Body Shop, Sixty-eight to Bauhuas. There are many more, but if I list them all, there will be nothing left for a surprise.

1pm
Later, head towards Kwai Chung Plaza, take the attached bridge or cross the road if you are on the ground floor to Metroplaza. When you get there, do not let the crowd baffle you, the people just prove the mall is a must-visit place. Moreover, ignore them for now because it is time to order some delicious Chinese dumplings with rice and cabbage.

2pm
After some food, it is time to walk around and burn the food that just entered your stomach. Do not worry, you will not need to shop in a empty stomach. Well, head to Haru and P dessert. It is a small stall on the second floor. See a green stall and you know you have reached your destination. Treat your inner child with the sweet tooth.

Did someone say waffle? 🐶✨ #hkeattery #HaruandP #waffles #nomnom

2:30pm
Continue shopping in the cheap stores with everything one can need. Best part is that only the latest fashion is in display. Everything is updated according to season and fashion. Stay latest and find everything you can need from candies to shoes in one place. This explains why it is a to-go place for the youth and a place to drop by every now and then to add some variety to your wardrobe in spite your age.

4pm
If you are done with shopping and your wallet is empty then head to the movie theatre at Metroplaza and enjoy a two-hour show. Or else, shopping is a never-ending activity; only the opening hours of stores come to an end, not the desire to shop.

7pm
After all that walking and shopping, who would not be famished? It is time to grab some food. There are a number of options from Homemade Pizza at Kwai Chung Plaza and Izumi Curry or Shanghai Lao Lao at Metroplaza. Whichever you choose is upto you, and all of them will result in a satisfied tummy. A happy tummy and hands full of shopping bags, what are ways are there to end a perfect day?
