In a city of rooftop bars and bottle service it can be hard to imagine a night out without paying a small fortune. But amongst the designer restaurants and champagne bars you can find some equality as ambient locations to relax and enjoy a drink without the heavy price tag. Happy hours are the perfect opportunity to take advantage of a not so average price drink.
n°1 Happy Hour at Stone Nullah Tavern

Stone Nullah’s most talked about “Beat the Clock” happy hour has officially finished. In its place is a two-hour open bar, which includes their house spirits, beer and wine for $110. Beginning at 5pm the deal also includes a help yourself selection of fried chicken and bacon which was shocked up continuously throughout the evening. This is perfect for an after work pick-me-up with friends or as a pre night out stopover because the bar is located in the prime spot of Wan Chai. The happy hour is daily from Monday to Friday but just because you can try and drink as many drinks as possible for two hours doesn’t always mean it’s the best idea, especially if you’ve got to be up early the next morning. Although its not as chaotic and exciting as their previous one, the happy hour had a very relaxed vibe that livened up as the evening progressed.
n°2 Happy Hour at Wildfire

One of the earliest happy hours I’ve discovered in the city starting at 12pm till 9pm is Wildfire in Knutsford. They offer 50% off all house wines, spirits, beers and ciders. This is perfect for if you’re looking for an early afternoon drink on your day off but because it goes on for so long you can even make it for after work too. Along with a deal on drinks, they offer a buy one get one free on a selection of 11 of their fresh stone baked pizzas from 12pm till 6pm. With half price drinks and pizza it’s the perfect place to relax in their outdoor seating area and enjoy a spot of lunch. If you feel like you can’t possibly manage to eat two whole pizzas, don’t worry you can ask to take one home after you’ve eaten, you just can’t turn down a free pizza!
n°3 Happy Hour at AGAVE Tequila Y Comida

Nothing screams authentic Mexican like tequila and lime, throw in some crushed ice and you have yourself a Margarita. What could be better then one Margarita you say? How about two for the price of one? Agave have a daily happy hour from 3pm-9pm where you can spend just $80 on what they called “the damn best Margaritas in town” or a bottle of Corona and get a second one free. With one of the largest tequila selections in Hong Kong, they use 2oz of tequila and fresh limes per drink to give you that authentic Mexican experience. The deal is per person though which means you wont be able to share and have one each, but it’s the perfect excuse to get a little giggly with an icy drink after a long hot day.
