Whether you are rolling solo or have that special someone, it’s always good to give yourself a proper pampering and indulge yourself once in a while. So what better excuse than Christmas? Here’s my recommendation for your quick fix to look good and dapper this festive season:
Ritual
I am sure most of you will be toasting (and getting toasted) a lot in the coming weeks, but when you drink alcohol over a period of time, it does take a toll. Don’t overwork your liver. I went and chatted with their lovely owner Sarah while I waited and I can see why this place is so popular. Body
Most men don’t want to spend as much time on their beauty rituals as us beauty queens. But I managed to change one fella’s mind after taking him for a luxurious treat at Iyara Spa. Check out the grand Gentlemen’s Corner. They now offer a list of services catered to men. What he had: a Swedish massage session for deep relaxation, an express manicure as well as an express facial tailored to his skin type. He walked out feeling relaxed and rejuvenated in just over 1 hour. Lavender and coconut oil is used in all massages and all products used in the spa are 100% natural.
Style
If you are going to a Christmas party that requires you to wear a traditional Christmas jumper, you don’t have to go all Macklemore down the thrift store. Opt for a blue toned, funky looking, shawl collared cardigan or a cool funky cardigan with a pop of blue instead. Nothing beats a man in a grey warm, funky cardigan in my opinion.
