October 7, it was my birthday and I decided to begin the day with a satisfying Mexican lunch buffet with my girlfriends. We settled our feet in Coyote, a Mexican bar and restaurant located in Wan Chai.
Serving on the second floor with colourful décor, the buffet offers a range of salads, Chili Con Carne, Chicken Fajita, Smoked Mongolian beef, signature BBQ Baby Back Ribs. And of course, big bowls of Tomato salsa, Guacamole, melted cheese, and cream are here for you to create your very own nachos and tacos — unbeatable, I’d say when it’s served with big portions of salsa.
It was said that Coyote makes the best margaritas in town, but since it was only 1:30pm, I thought it will be wise to keep myself sober with their free flow ice lemon tea and save the margarita for another late afternoon.
When it comes to all-you-can-eat, it’s better to wear silhouettes that hide your tummy. I’ve chosen a loose A-Line skirt of Melissa Bui’s for this special occasion. Not only it perfectly hides my after-meal popping belly, but I’m also loving the structural asymmetrical hemline, flowing and elegant. Wear it with a cropped top that sits above the waist to visually elongated your body figure, and a slightly oversized denim jacket to keep the look fierce and fabulous. Drop some shoulder if you dare to, as this is what the current trend is all about.
