There’ll be showcasing their selection of non-traditional Vietnamese street food, for an evening that’s expected to be as fresh and wild as the food you’ll be tasting.

Oddies Foodies

What? Fusing old Hong Kong with the classic Italian dessert, Oddies is the artisanal ice cream parlour, combining egg waffles and unusual ice cream flavours. Opening up their new store in Central this winter season, we’re expecting even more insta-fans to be posting their pictures of the perfectly photogenic desserts from the ice cream brand. From salted caramel to peanut butter, cake crumbs and berry coulis, central-dweller’s you’re in for a treat.

KOKO by Kee Club

What? The Japanese daughter of Kee, the private member’s club and self-branded social hub of the city, KOKO is a contemporary Izakaya in the heart of Central. Overlooking the colonial police station, KOKO is the laid-back drinking establishment that promises modern Japanese food in an infomal environment. One that makes for the perfect urban oasis with its spacious roof terrace and zen design.

Something Old II PMQ

What? As Hong Kong pours money into renewal rather than redevelopment, renovation rather than destruction, old is trumping new. And the city’s love of all things vintage is beautifully epitomized in the PMQ’s latest pop-up ‘Something Old II,’ where visitors can take a journey back in time to the whimsical world of the past. Guests can take part in eclectic workshops or simply enjoy the wonderful three-week-long market experience. Finding everything from cameras to jewellery and clothes, it’s possible to get an old-school barber cut or create your very own vintage watch, so go down and check it out if you haven’t already.

Secret Theatre

What? After it’s success in London and New York, the groundbreaking and highly anticipated Secret Theatre has arrived in Hong Kong to bring drama outside the theatre. Growing increasingly popular in recent years, the London-born company, founded by Crawford and Burke, has successfully incorporated audience and production inextricably providing untitled theatre at unknown locations around Hong Kong. Guests are invited to book tickets first in order to receive a secret address, instructions and password for the event, creating a theatrical adventure for the thrill-seeking show-lovers among us. Running every Thu-Sun until December 13, don’t miss out on one of their innovative performances.
