What? Where could be better than at the foot of Hong Kong’s infamous skyline to wish in the New Year, right? If you think so too, then Sevva is the place to be. With one of the best rooftop vistas the city has to offer, it’s in a prime spot for the city’s legendary NYE firework display. And the glamorous bar isn’t letting that be all you have to anticipate either. Udderbelly Festival

What? In Hong Kong a purple upside-down cow might seem strange. But it’s become an iconic annual fixture in both London and Edinburgh. Exhibiting dance, drama, comedy and so much more – Udderbelly Festival is here for the first time at Hong Kong’s Harbourfront event space. Founded in 2000 by Ed Bartlam and Charlie Wood, Udderbelly is a live entertainment company running numerous festivals across the UK. LOST IN TIME Festival

Where: Boarding at Ocean Terminal, Harbour City, TST, Hong Kong
What? If you’re over extortionately overpriced nightclubs rammed full of sweaty individuals wishing in the New Year, then Lost in Time might be for you. The two-day festival by Beatship and Hushup Eevents, promises guests a NYE like no other onboard the SuperStar Virgo cruise liner. Taken to sea, guests can take dance classes, watch stand up comedy, enjoy movie screenings and even play drag queen bingo all before dancing the night away to world-class DJs spinning everything from techno to hip hop.

Brickhouse NYE Mardi Gras

What? Party to this New Year Mardis Gras style with feathers, beads and free flowing booze. Brickhouse are offering guests a carnival style night to wish in 2016 for $590 a ticket. Promising a NYE piñata, tequila and 1am tacos, Lan Kwai’s very own Little Mexico are putting on a true fiesta.
